Attractive terracotta kyusu pot with calligraphic inscriptions along the body. This pot is a handmade piece from the ancient pottery town of Tokoname, Aichi prefecture - one of Japan's six ancient shrines. 

For easy pouring and cleaning, the pot comes with a stainless steel fine mesh tea strainer fitted to the spout inside.
